About me!
Hi! I'm Liz!
The human body has always amazed me.
This led me from my little hometown of Denton, TX to study at The University of Texas at Austin in pursuit of my B.S. in biochemistry.
I ended up bouncing around to different majors: nutrition, public health, and eventually graduated with my B.S. in public relations to pursue nonprofit work. However, nothing really felt right and I knew early on that no traditional field would.
After quitting my office job at a local nonprofit (turns out, I really hate computers), I came to the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage Therapy for some much-needed relaxation, and got into a long, life-changing discussion with my student-therapist about massage therapy and was instantly locked in. I had my epiphany!
It wasn't long before I completely immersed myself in study and haven't looked back since. I have always felt a strong connection to massage, practicing Reiki massage on my mother who suffered from severe arthritis when I was just seven years old.
I graduated from the Lauterstein-Conway School of Massage Therapy in May of 2024. My love for learning never ends—since graduating I have received advanced training in myofascial release, manual release technqiues, sound therapy, acupressure and chair massage. I currently work at Athlete Generator Lab in the Seaholm District, providing Deep Tissue and Sports Massage to those on their recovery journeys. In addition, you can find me around town doing chair massage at numerous events and popups!
I love all forms of movement but especially running, strength training, stretching and skateboarding! In my free time, you can find me basking in the sun like a lizard, writing, trying new gluten-free recipes and playing with my two kitties, Leo & Clea-Marie.
Kindly,
Liz
